This position will expand the rapidly growing Stock Sales Division of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and product education at Electrical Distributor branch locations in a geographical zone. This position is a foundation to establish a rewarding career in the rapidly expanding LED lighting industry.

Job Description
Establish and maintain a call schedule for key customer branch locations.
Provide training to the branch personnel to sell their lighting inventory.
Promote new products by the weekly introduction of marketing collateral provided-promotional flyers, stock guides, and price books.
Increase overall stock sales (defined as lighting products on the shelf at customer locations or CDC’s)
Participate in distributor marketing activities such as counter days and other customer facing events.
Work with distributor and contractor contacts to hunt, develop, and sell discretionary job opportunities, which may include visiting job sites or providing lighting layouts.
Provide quotes to distribution for discretionary opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma with some college preferred.
Previous experience in Sales.
Must be a team player with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent analytical and prioritization skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Current model automobile and good driving record.
Ability to prioritize and work independently.

Chesapeake Lighting, a leading manufacturer’s representative for commercial and industrial lighting and controls, is currently seeking a Lighting Controls Service Technician for a project management / customer service position, with focus on commercial lighting controls applications to support our Lighting Controls division. This person will work closely with our Sales, Field Techs, and Project Management Teams, and support the efforts of our outside Salespeople by assisting in the commissioning of our lighting controls systems. This position will also be trained to provide technical support and troubleshooting of our lighting controls products.
Job Description
Review drawings and specifications to understand lighting controls requirements
Troubleshooting and commissioning of installed systems.
Serve as a technical resource to staff as well as customers
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of (1) year experience as a field technician
Ability to read construction drawings
Understanding of basic electrical distribution
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced qualifications a bonus, but not required
Knowledge of wireless communications protocols such as ZigBee, Wi-Fi, IR, etc.
Familiarity with control theory technical education in Low Voltage Controls, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology, Wireless Communications and Radio Frequency (RF) Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
Advanced computer skills including AutoCAD 2D, or Blue Beam. Ability to quickly learn proprietary configuration software for various systems
Basic understanding of computer networking
Familiarity with automation systems
Experience with DMX distribution
Knowledge of Industrial and other control systems
Knowledge of energy codes and sustainable lighting practices

As asales representative for lighting fixture and lighting controls manufacturers, Chesapeake Lighting is a sales intermediary between our customers and the lighting manufacturers we represent. As a Junior Accountant, you will work under the supervision of the Controller to perform various accounting tasks, such as commission reconciliations, turning purchase orders into invoices, communicating with co-workers and manufacturers, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile vendor commissions between the manufacturers monthly payments and Chesapeake Lightings internal ordering system.
Assist in maintaining financial records and general ledgers by recording transactions, journal entries, and adjustments accurately and timely.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, expense reports, and other financial documents for payment or reimbursement, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
Assist in implementing and enforcing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and auditors to provide information, resolve issues, and support the timely completion of financial audits and reviews.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to accounting systems, workflows, and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
