Summary
Chesapeake Lighting is a leader in the Commercial Lighting industry looking for a self-starter to fill its Project Bid Coordinator position.
This entry level position closely interacts with Customers, Account Managers, and the Estimating team to ensure timely delivery of project quotations.
Candidates should be highly organized, have the ability to prioritize, work independently and will be expected to manage the coordination of the Bid Process. This includes assigning and updating the Project/Bid documents for the Estimating Team.
Good written and verbal communication skills are important. Knowledge of the Oasis software system is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assigns projects to quotations department based on workload and project type.
- Utilizes our software system, Oasis, to prepare projects for quoting.
- Coordinates the distribution of the daily bid list to distributors and our internal office.
- Creates submittals for projects as requested.
- Provides additional support tasked by management when needed.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma with some college preferred.
- Previous experience in Sales.
- Must be a team player with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current model automobile and good driving record
- Ability to prioritize and work independently.
